Doceree at POC Now 2025: Building a Foundation for Improving Healthcare Outcomes & HCP Engagement
At POC Now 2025, the biggest names from the industry discussed the road map for enhancing the impact of POC strategies.
POC NOW 2025 proved to be an engaging event bringing together healthcare marketers and some of the biggest names from the pharma industry under one roof to understand what’s keeping point of care marketing in healthcare thriving. Despite evolving patient behaviors, increased digitization, and advancements in technology, POC continues to be one of the best ways to ensure conversations between healthcare providers (HCPs) and marketers remain engaging and fruitful. It’s helping make tangible impact at moments of critical care, delivering tangible outcomes, fostering stronger relationships, and enhancing care delivery across diverse touchpoints.

This year’s theme, “A Foundation for Healthcare Engagement,” underscored just how POC’s role remains important in an increasingly dynamic healthcare ecosystem. POC Now 2025 also aimed to equip attendees with actionable insights and forward-thinking strategies to shape the future of healthcare communication with precision and confidence.
As one of the sponsors, and more importantly, as one of the leading POC solution provider, Doceree, was represented by a team of eight experts - Kamya Elawadhi, Chief Client Officer; Thomas Shea, Chief Revenue Officer; Ritesh Patel, Chief Growth Officer; Chris Caggiano, Senior Director of Sales & Partnerships; Jeremy Sheinman, Account Executive – Sales; Yousef Elhusseini, Director – Sales & Partnerships; Bryan O’Keefe, Business Director, Customer Success; and Jonathan Toral, Manager – Customer Success.
They engaged in insightful conversations with attendees about how POC marketing is transforming engagement between healthcare providers (HCPs) and marketers. There were also conversations around the future of POC marketing and developing strategies to advance POC’s role in healthcare. A key area of focus for these discussions was understanding the impact timely and relevant POC messages can have on clinical outcomes. Demonstrations illustrated how trigger-based POC messaging effectively influences prescription increases.
Post the networking sessions, the team also got the chance to interact with the speakers and other experts at the event. Conversations around the evolving dynamics of POC in healthcare were had with clients from CMI/Compas, BI and Bayer clients immediately after sessions.
Highlights from POC Now 2025
Some key takeaways from this mega healthcare marketing event:
- The entire event was built around networking beyond set sponsorships. Of all the panel discussions, the most intriguing was around proposed laws discussing banning of pharma ads. This was followed up by a nurse's testimony that further validated the work that we at Doceree are doing in the field of improving patient care through pharma marketing.
- An interesting point of discussion post the sessions was standardizing the way we measure and evaluate channel and tactic performance (script lift vs ROI) and getting agencies/brands/vendors more on the same page and/or finding a way to better standardize key things across the POC landscape – an idea that is critical to driving overall category and lift all POC ships.
- The whole event was focused on patient care and one panel discussed in-depth how to measure its quality. This session also raised a pertinent question, finding the answer to which is central to all our efforts: Pharma in general is focussed on improving patient care, but it’s the healthcare providers (HCPs) who prescribe medication. So, who’s the ultimate measure of care - the patient or the doctor?
- Another important point of conversation at POC Now 2025 was how rapidly POC in healthcare is growing. There appears to be growing consensus that the idea of custom content creation for POC - just as there is for other modes such as social media – will gain more traction going forward.
